Going to the cosmetologist or hair salon is one of the day-to-day necessities that can be made emotionally difficult by TTM and skin-picking. Many of our members report that they avoid getting haircuts or facials because they feel they cannot discuss the cause of skin damage or hair loss. To help alleviate this problem, TLC has been working to educate cosmetologists about TTM and skin-picking.
